there were developed new promising gene pool of the initial material, genetic collections and sources of breeding characters of agricultural crops (collections of self-fertile lines of winter rye, mutant forms of wheat and barley, iso- and alloplasmic lines of barley and wheat, collections of fiber flax, soya, potato, new forms of wheat, triticale and secalotriticum);

new biotechnological and molecular-genetic methods and techniques for producing promising forms and analysing agronomic characters in rye, wheat, triticale, secalotriticum, potato, flax, sugar beet (molecular-genetic mapping of genomes, genetic engineering of agricultural crops) were developed;

there were developed and are used new cultivars of wheat, triticale, soya, tomato and bacterial preparations in agriculture of Belarus, Russia and other countries;
